A Study on Geo-morphological Analysis and Risk Assessment Method Using Geospatial Information

Rock platforms and TTP (breakwater) are dangerous environments commonly subject to tidal high wave energy on the open coast. This paper is a study risk assessment provide information, which representative method for preventing coastal safety accidents. Risk based geo-morphological information was conducted Halmi-Halabi rock platform in Anmyeon-eup, Taean-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. As result of 16 directions, evaluated NE, ENE, S, SSW, W where there many sections with slopes exceeding ±20o, NW direction lowest. Geo-morphology central understanding what makes one stretch complex coastline more hazardous than another, it can be used create site-specific morphological item. In particular, will assisting managers an effort reduce number injuries drowning incidents by providing hazard assess relative risk.
